I liked the ease of installation and mostly the fun factor. It will definitely put a small on the faces of gun enthusiasts and a shocked looked and warnings from the less informed on the legality of it. Enjoy. Lol
Franklin Armory says this works with most 10/22's. I'm not sure I agree with that. I have two older 10/22's: one just a plain original model from the late 60's and another stainlesss steal. The BFSIII 22-C1 would not work in either of the trigger groups from these. After doing a lot of digging around on the internet, watching videos and reading forums it seems this trigger works best in a Ruger BX trigger assembly. So before giving up on this trigger, I ordered a BX trigger assembly and installed the BFSIII in it. It works in there but is still not perfect. In binary mode it will occasionally still fail to fire on trigger release. I'm hoping maybe it just needs to break in a bit. I will say this BFSIII 22-C! trigger is way too touchy and not very forgiving at all. Installation is easy (especially after doing it multiple times) and because I ended up getting a BX trigger assembly, it means I can keep my original triggers as non-binary triggers I can swap in whenever I need to take a 10/22 where the binary trigger is not allowed (ranges or other states). Overall I would probably rate this a 3.5 because it mostly works in the right trigger assembly but Franklin Armory should work to get a version specially made for older model 10/22s.
Great product and service. Definitely will be ordering with Gunprime.
