The Hellcat Micro-Compact OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) has its billet-machined rear slide deck cut to accept a micro red dot sight. Premium features like a 3" hammer-forged Melonite-coated 1:10"-twist barrel and svelte 1" grip width define the Hellcat line. The rear slide deck is cut to accept a micro red dot for lightning fast engagement and unparalleled situational awareness. An Adaptive Grip Texture that grips tighter the harder you squeeze it. I've had the gun for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. I've only shot it at the range once, and really like how it holds and feels. But the bigger reason I like it is how it carries.
I conceal carry using an Alien Gear Shapeshift appendix holster. I use it some at my 1 oclock, but honestly like carrying mostly on the backside at my 5 oclock. I can barely even tell its there. The size of the gun is excellent. And yet still fires a 9mm round?!
I also personally feel more comfortable with this gun because it now has the added manual safety, which I like to keep on while carrying loaded. HIGHLY recommend this one!
As I promised in my first review, I’m writing another review on the quality of the product. I’m going to keep it short and straight to the point. GunPrime has delivered a brand NEW Hellcat to me. The box, firearm and 2 mags are all in GREAT condition! I throughly looked, smelled and handled my Springfield Hellcat with expert precision. I can say that so far GunPrime has not disappointed me. Believe me when I say, I’m not hard to satisfy but I demand quality products and superior customer service. Money is very hard to earn and save; so if I’m spending my hard earned money with a company, I’m expecting what I paid for! GunPrime has definitely won my trust and I will have no problem ordering another firearm from them again. I wish I had got the gentleman’s name I spoke with on the phone because I would like to give him 5 stars for his remarkable service. GunPrime please keep up the good work because I will be back!
I just ordered the Springfield Hellcat OSP ready w/ manual safety on Aug 6th., basically 3 days ago. Mind you, that GunPrime processes orders M-F. I received my order today Aug. 9th, delivered to my local FFL dealer. GunPrime processed/ created shipping label the Monday morning, shipped my product out for delivery via UPS that afternoon, and I received my Hellcat Tuesday morning via my local FFL dealer. I am so impressed I had to write this review. I have never had such speedy service by any firearms dealer EVER! I will definitely buy another product from them again. I have not seen or handle my new Hellcat yet due to waiting on my Federal background check by my dealer. Most likely it will be 2-3 days because I actually get to officially own my firearm. So, I plan on writing a second review on the condition and parts included (mags) with my purchase. I can say, that I saw the box and it was in good condition. Once I inspect and my FFL dealer inspects my new Hellcat I will update you guys and girls on the entire shopping experience with GunPrime. Note: I only give reviews when fully satisfied but I was so impressed by the speedy service that I told myself that GunPrime deserve two reviews. So they get 5 STARS for service. Until I see, smell and handle my new HELLCAT I will end this review on that note.
